A great start

               

I bought this wine on a whim because I had asked M- for a few recommendations under $10 and this was great. Every bit as good as a $25 bottle of Merlot.

Full-bodied;  slight spiciness;  very drinkable.

The Castel Malbec (sku 58297) was 9.99 I'll comment on the Malbec next (maybe tonight)

Simple List of Wines I thought were good.

This blog is intended to be a history of wines I thought were at least noteworthy. I had hoped to start this ever since my wife bought me the movie "Sideways" which came bundled with a small paperback wine journal. Since I can set this blog up to receive photos and notes directly from my phone, I can capture the moment when I had the thought that a wine was at least worthy of some photo space on my phone and the effort to send it to this blog.
